Colour Coach - Sande Bamford

Sande Bamford

Sande Bamford,
Designer Colour Stylist, Complimentary Colours

Sande has always had a passion for fashion & colour! She currently holds the position of Treasurer for The Colour Society of Australia, Queensland Division and is a Colour Coach in training with Colour Comfort Ltd.

Her colour career began as Wardrobe Supervisor with Brisbane Arts Theatre in her final year of a Certificate in Dress Design at Queensland College of Art, Brisbane.

She was Assistant Designer at Casual Trends, Brisbane, before taking a retail and design position with Gardams Fabrics, Brisbane, which lead to a  transfer to Townsville to manage their Bridal Store.

Following a year travelling overseas, Sande relocated to Sydney where she expanded her passion for colour by studying personal colour imaging. She has trained both consultants and the public about how to enhance their natural beauty by utilising light, colour and design principles.

Completing a Paris American Academy design refresher summer school in 2003 changed her focus to the challenge of updating homes for the minimum of expense, utilising light, colour & design principles.

Colour continued to call Sande. Following a Colour Society talk by Thelma Van der Werff she decided to focus on the use of colour to help others get more out of life through Colour Coaching.

Sande now lives and works on Queensland’s beautiful Gold Coast.
