Colour tip to beat the recession

Each day brings depressing news of a global recession, housing market crash and the decline of numerous companies under pressure. Is this affecting you and your quality of life; are you worried about your job or your business? Are you fearful for the future and feel frustrated that you cannot find a solution to improve your life?

Whilst the doom and gloom permeates around us, there are many businesses that are blooming and prospering. Against all the odds they are standing head and shoulders above all the others. What makes these businesses unique and what is their secret? They have created an opportunity to rise from mediocrity to excellence by focussing on the positives, changing systems and processes and creating expansion with new ideas. This basic concept can work for you too. Using the powerful tool of colour will allow you to expand, gain confidence and change old belief patterns and systems in your life that may not be working for you, especially in this difficult time.

This month I want to offer you a colour that can support you to be more ‘creative’ in any area of your life. By finding new ways of doing things differently, creating new methods or systems you too can rise above the doom and gloom and create your own excellence. New times need new measures, methods and paradigms.

Start introducing the colour turquoise into your life. You can wear this colour or have objects of this colour in your work or home environment. Turquoise is a combination of green and blue, in definition; encouraging you to follow your own intuition and communicating your ideas. Turquoise gives you the confidence to ‘create’, helping with fresh ideas, expansion of thought and ultimately taking away the fear of change.

In colour therapy this colour is related to a new era, fresh ideas, mass communications (computer / internet) and creativity.

These times are forcing us to be original, inventive, unique and optimistic. All characteristics of the colour turquoise.

Wishing you optimism and creativity,

Thelma
