First of all I want to thank everyone who have sent me emails requesting information on a particular topic, or feedback on the topics I have already written about! I am really heartened to have received so many emails and to realise that you are genuinely interested in colour. Unfortunately because of the sheer volume of emails it is impossible for me to answer everyone personally but, I have taken on board your requests and will be writing newsletters on those particular subjects. You obviously like to keep me busy!
I see colour as a language. If you understand and speak this language you can use colour in all aspects of your life to not only influence your own emotions but also the message you are communicating to others. You can use colour in clothing, in your home/office, on your website, for meetings, for dating, for parenting, for marketing etc. The possibilities are endless!
The language of colour is just like any other language - a two-way tool of communication, for expression and reaction. Every colour has a message which both communicates and triggers a reaction. Marketing uses this tool very effectively in advertising to awaken an emotion by giving information about a product by using specific colours.
