Colour Tip for the Corporate World

In the western world, the colour black is still worn predominantly in the corporate world.  It is a widely misperceived that black and only black should be worn as a ‘corporate’ colour.  Of course, as a Colour Coach, I strongly disagree with this and can suggest many other colours which would be just as appropriate in the  ‘corporate’ world!  One such colour is navy blue. This colour is very suitable to wear in business because it portrays a message of authority, self discipline and control. This colour, just as black, can be combined with every colour but is not as harsh as the colour black. Navy blue is communicating that the wearer has focus and is knowledgeable. Wearing navy blue portrays an image of being trustworthy, committed and dependable and on whom others can rely.

I hope you will enjoy integrating different colours into your wardrobe and take the first step to get out of your colour comfort zone.
