Colour Tip about Dating
In this month’s colour tip I will discuss the importance of using colour when dating, especially on that first date!  Not only  are you meeting a new person and hoping to make a good impression, but you are also, by the colour choice of your clothes subconsciously communicating your personality: video colour for dating.
They say that a picture paints a thousand words so be assured that whenever you enter a room you have already said a lot about yourself, without talking, as the colours you are wearing ‘talk’ for you by conveying a message and an emotion. So, do you need to make a good impression because you are going on a blind date, a job interview or meeting the parents of your new partner?  Read on for my tips on how to accomplish this!

Your clothing and especially the colours you wear  send out a message to everyone you meet. In my book Dress to Impress I explain clearly how you can use specific colours to portray certain characteristics and alternatively how to attract those same characteristics. For example, if you want to attract someone who is perhaps adventurous or creative, you would have to portray those same characteristics which you can achieve by using the colours that will communicate those particular attributes. Also in my book, there is a colour dictionary whereby the characteristics or personality traits are directly linked to different colours. I would advise that you use a maximum of  3 colours; the colour you wear as a shirt, blouse or top reflects how you feel and the colours used in outer garments such as jackets, coats and cardigans will reflect how you want to present yourself. I have also described the meaning of colours in shoes, necklaces, hats and accessories because the combination will communicate a certain message. Picture: "getting it right" by James christensen
